Have you ever tried to make an EXTRA R 2,000 in one month?
I am going to give it a try. And I hope I can do it. Working in an office from 9 to 5 is not the best way I can think of to pass my time….although, I do have to do it. I mean, it just takes up the whole day. And honestly, it’s actually more like 8 to 5.
Plus all the time you spend in traffic to get to work and back home again.
And the money you take home is pre-determined by your boss and the tax man.
That is all just horrible.
So…..is that really it?
There must be another way. Maybe I’m just not thinking out of that proverbial box. I really love the motto of ‘work smarter not harder’ especially because I have a family, I help with homework, try and attend sporting activities, have a job and I like to watch TV series , so I can’t just go out and get additional jobs during the day to get more money.
If I want to make some extra cash for Christmas, I am going to have to think differently.
Christmas is around the corner and I do need some spending money, so I have decided to do something about it.
I am going to challenge myself and see if I can earn an extra R 2, 000.00 this November. Now that might not sound a lot, but I don’t have a lot of free time, and I only kind of sort of have a mini-plan in place.
My start date: 01 November 2017 (yes I am a day late – sorry!)
My end date: 30 November 2017
If you are looking online for ways to make some extra cash, you can find loads of apps and online survey sites and many things like that – but most of them are relevant to the USA only.
So sitting here in my nest in South Africa, I am going to see what I can do to make some extra money ‘from home’. Are there apps and online gigs that I can work on (in my ‘spare’ time) valid for SA where I can earn some extra money?
Let’s find out what South Africans can do to earn some extra money. Is there enough of this money going around for all of us? Can I create it? Is this going to take up my entire weekend?
To be honest, I don’t know the answers yet. I am going to do this and find out.
Best of all – you can follow along my journey.
I will post updates every Friday.
And at the end of the month I will give a full breakdown of my time spent, money made, money lost and all the highs and lows along the way.
So, if you want to see how to make some extra cash (hopefully), follow me up this garden path and let’s see where it goes! Sign up on my website and see what happens
